Here in Vancouver, the weather is turning cool and rainy. On days like this, there’s nothing more delightful than a pot of hot tea and a sweet treat when you need a break from the hectic pace of life. After a moment’s respite, you’ll be refreshed and ready to face the rest of the day!
Here are a few of our favourite tea and treat pairings:
Our housemade Cranberry Chocolate Shortbread is a rich, decadent treat. Creamy Vanilla Rooibos herbal tea complements the chocolate and berries, while undertones of nutty almonds add depth.
Our delicate Rosemary Olive Oil Shortbread is light and flaky, with a savoury herbal note and a hint of sea salt. We like to pair it with the gently floral Lavender Earl Grey for a sweet and soothing combination.
Great big Milk Chocolate Oatmeal Pecan Cookies are a gourmet twist on a classic sweet. Filled with pecans and a hint of spice, these cookies stand up well to the ginger heat of Masala Chai.
Whatever tea and treats you pair, we hope that your tea break offers a comforting break to renew you for the rest of the day!

We hope you’ve been enjoying the sunshine this summer! Here’s a quick iced tea recipe to cool down with when the weather gets hot:
Steep 2 teaspoons of tea leaves in 8 ounces of boiling water, for 3 minutes. Remove leaves and add lemon, sweetener, or milk if desired.
Pour over a glass of ice, and enjoy!
With our wide variety of teas, the iced tea options are endless. Here are a few of our favourites:
Lemony Earl Grey
Our best-selling Creamy Earl Grey makes a delightful iced tea. Poured over ice, we like to add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and simple syrup to bring out the natural, refreshing citrus notes.
Vanilla Jasmine Iced Tea
Fragrant jasmine blossoms and creamy vanilla are a match made in heaven! Blend Jasmine Green Tea with Vanilla Almond Black Tea for a fragrant, sophisticated iced tea.
Iced Hibiscus Punch
Our Blue Angel Herbal Tea is a blend of tangy pink hibiscus and fruit pieces. Naturally sweet, it’s popular with kids! For a “fruit punch,” add a splash of lemonade.
Iced Creamy Caramel
Our Creamy Caramel Rooibos is a unique thirst quencher. Smooth caramel and nutty rooibos yield a decadent, caffeine-free infusion. Enjoy it on its own or add a touch of milk.
