Tea is timeless. Recently three generations of tea drinkers enjoyed High Tea at the Secret Garden:
Dorothy (Grandma), Anne (mum), and Kenyon (11 years old) dressed up with fascinators to enjoy their day out for spring High Tea!

Recently Kathy was interviewed by Roundhouse Radio, where she discussed the high cost of credit card fees for small businesses, and shared what you can do to help.

Recently Gina and her daughter, Emma had a special mother-daughter tea date at Secret Garden. We just had to share this beautiful storybook they made to remember the day!
Gina, a children’s singer/songwriter, shared, “My family has four children and once a month my husband and I rotate so that one of us can take all four children out for a 1:1 date (so, each parent gets a date with each child once every two months). Each child really looks forward to receiving that focused attention … and getting spoiled 🙂
“The Secret Garden Tea company has been a wonderful place to make them (and us) feel really special. I see why [The Secret Garden] is so special to the children … because of the cute desserts, the lovely ambience, and the atmosphere of general magic in the air… I’m very happy to have a place to create memories that are priceless.”
We’re very grateful to be able to help families create such special memories together!
“I love spring anywhere, but if I could choose I would always greet it in a garden.”

We were honoured to be voted Best Tea House in the Georgia Straight’s Golden Plate awards for 2017.
The Straight described us as “One of Vancouver’s top spots for high tea, brunch, breakfast, and hand-crafted pastries.” Thank you to everyone who voted for us! We’re truly grateful for such wonderful customers.
“The heart of tea is in the plucking; the soul of tea is in the steeping.”
